what happens to an electromagnet when you remove the power supply

Sagot :

AL2006

An electromagnet is only magnetic when electric current is flowing through
its coil of wire. When the power supply to the coil is removed or switched off,
the electromagnet is no longer magnetic.  It's just a coil of wire wrapped around
a hunk of iron.
