why are cotton balls a good insulator

Sagot :

Cotton balls do not conduct electricity or heat well (Metal is the best conductor). Since it does not conduct anything or let it pass, the heat will not be able to escape the cotton balls. That said, it will not hold all heat. Some heat is always lost. :)
