What are some similes, metaphors, and personifications from the book down river

Sagot :

i haven't got the book or read it but a simile is somthing that refers to something and uses the words like or as eg he was a tall as a giant
a metaphor is something that makes an even stronger image in the readers head
eg he was a speeding bullet . you really be a speeding bullet but it means he could run extremely  fast like a bullet
personificatoin is when you make an object do something only umans can do
eg the moon turned to smile
the moon can't smile
