Describe the difference between mitosis and meiosis. Include one way that they are alike and one way that they are different.

Mitosis and Meiosis are both types of cell division and they both produce new cells. They also both go through the same basic steps. They are different in that Mitosis produces 2 new cells and Meiosis produces 4 new cells. Hope this helps !
