i´m going to asume you meant quocient, if it is the answer is greater explanation, if you divide decimal numbers a personal trick i use is turning them into fractions
4.5= 45/10
0.9= 9/10
so in order to divide 2 fractions you have to turn one of the fractions, but only one, i´m going to choose 9/10 (at the end is the same if you choose 45/100) and them you directly multilply the numbers that were left a the top and put them as the top
45 * 10 = 450
and then you do the same with the bottoms
9 * 10 = 90
so now you unite them
450/90
a fraction is basicly the same as a division so i´m going to divide them
450 / 90 = 5
so at the end 4.5 divided by 0.9 is greater than 4.5
