why did angry Greek citizens storm into the streets in 2012 to protest?

Sagot :

The 2012 protests were general protests as people were very angry that as anti-austerity measures placed on Greece because it was in debt. This meant they would cut public spending and raise taxes in exchange for a large sum of money to be bailed out of this debt. These were mostly peaceful and non-partisan, although they later turned violent, as the protests were from 2010 to 2012 and only now have things started to get a little better, as there was massive hostility between Greece and the European Union, as well as the International Monetary Fund.
