Now they are developing a turbine (very similar to the wind turbines used on land for energy) that will harness the energy of the ebb and flow of the tide in some of their inlets.

England imports fuel as the only natural resource. Until the Middle East  problem, England got most of its fuel from there. Now, England imports most of its fuel for refineries from the North Sea area and Norway.
