I would split my Turmeric Indicator into three glasses, each for the three materials.  I would be able to identify the Hydrochloric Acid since the Turmeric would turn yellow, due to how acidic it is.  The Sodium Hydroxide would make the indicator turn orange, due to how Alkaline the substance is.  The Sugar solution would not change the color of the indicator, since it is not an extremely acidic or alkaline solution.
