How do u multiply fractions?

Sagot :

when you multiply fractions all you need to do is multiply straight like lets say you have the fractions 1/3*1/2you multiply as if you would multiply normally like first the dominators 1*1=1 and now the numerators 3*2=6 now we put them in order 1/6.
Hope it helps.
Multiplying fractions is easier to understand than dividing fractions.A fraction has two parts: a numerator and a denominator. For example: 1/5. In this example 1 would be the numerator and 5 would be the denominator. To multiply fractions all you do is multiple the numerators together and the denominators together.
Ex.) 1/10 x 1/10= 1/100
In this example you multiplied 1 by 1 and put that as the numerator on you answer. Then you multiply 10 by 10 and that is the denominator for your answer. Let me know if you need another example.
