I think this is easy. So, you start off with 4 3/4. Then, you use 1 1/10 and also use 2 extra pounds. So, you would convert the mixed fractions to improper ones. 4 3/4 would be 19/4 because 4x4=16+3=19 and you put 19 over four.- 19/4. Then, do the same thing with 1 1/10, 1x10=10+1=11/1. You also have 2, but thats not mixed so we're going to make it improper. 2 has become 2/1. Subract 19/4 from 11/1 and also subtract that from 2/1. You will get 6/2. 6 will go into 2, two times and with this you will get 3. So, you can say 19/4-11/1-2/1=6/2 which equals 3. Hope this helps!!!
