What is the opposite of confederate states of America?

Sagot :

That would most likely be the United States of America since they were the other "country" in the American Civil War.
Most of their beliefs were also pretty opposite, which was what led to the creation of the Confederacy in the first place. For example, the Confederates believed in Slavery as well as States having more power than the federal government while the Union was anti-slavery and tried to abolish it and also wanted more power over states.
Also, both are on opposite sides of each other. The Union (aka USA) is in the north while the Confederacy is in the South

Hope this helped!! :D

I believe the answer is: United States of America

The difference lies within the words 'united' and 'Confederates'.

United States means that there are several states in the country who decided to stick together under one big government.

Confederate States mean that all the states want their own authority.
