Why was the postwar situation in Germany especially bad

Sagot :

I am not sure which war you mean, but the situation was bad in Germany after both wars: after the first, it had to pay huge war reparations to other countries, which contributed to its great economic problems, and after the second the germans were on one hand used as a forced labour to re-built many places and on the other hand the influx of goods into Germany was controlled by the occupying powers, and Germans were not a priority in humanitarian help, and this resulted in wide-spread hunger and poverty.
