coal

C.

water

D.

petroleum

Sagot :

Well, in a way all of them are renewable- just not in our life time (e.g. coal will be created again, but this is of no practical importance for us, as if we use up all the coal, we will have to wait a lot of generations to have access to coal again).

the only resource from the list that is renewable in a short time is water.

Water is a renewable resource (C).

Water is commonly classified as a renewable natural resource because of its ability to remain constant and sufficient to meet all of mankind's needs through the so-called hydrological cycle.

During the hydrological cycle, the water that evaporates from the soil and liquid surfaces, as well as that transpired by the plants, goes into the atmosphere, forming clouds that precipitate as rain. When it reaches the ground, some of the water follows the rivers, lakes and seas and the rest penetrates the soil. The part of the rainwater that has infiltrated the ground is equivalent to the water portion of the hydrological cycle responsible for supplying the aquifers, known as freshwater groundwater.

In this way, water is constantly being renewed, unlike fossil fuels, whose maturation takes millions of years.
