The merchant class were view with respect and were more prominent as trade developed and merchants became middle class because they could get more money and increase their wealth. When Qin’s conquest ended the Warring States period, merchants had a respectable position in the social class rank of China. The trading of many and diverse products allowed them to increase its presence and position in those years.
