Anthropology is a discipline that studies the cultures of people. It consists of four sub-groups: cultural anthropology, physical or biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology and archeology. At first glance there is no difference between Anthropology and Archeology, both of which deal with the study of culture, although archeology focuses on material culture and ancient historical sites. However, there are crucial differences in their roles and focus. Archaeologists are focused on physical, material evidence, such as buildings, various constructions. Anthropologists study ancient cultures, and social influences on them, such as languages, and what caused the migration of a population.
