how do you solve the proportion:
11/5.9 = 15/x I learned this a while back I just forget how to do it. thx

Sagot :

voytek
[tex] \frac{11}{5.9}= \frac{15}{x}[/tex]

You have to cross multiply and you get:
[tex]11x=5.9*15[/tex]

[tex]x= \frac{5.9*15}{11}[/tex]

[tex]x= 8.045(45)[/tex]
Multiply 15 by 5.9. Then divide by 11
