Describe the causes of the Renaissance, Enlightenment, and Scientific Revolution. Make sure you also explain how these movements contributed to either the growth of democratic principles of government (change of government to a democracy),  the move away from the theocentric (religious) views of the universe, and how these periods helped progress humankind (made society better).
