Elsa's Trekking Trip

Elsa nervously bid good-bye to her parents and began walking toward the group of trekking enthusiasts. As she looked back at her parents who were proudly waving back at her, Elsa thought to herself, Maybe I can still change my mind and skip this trip.
About a month ago, Elsa had seen a flyer on her college notice board announcing that Nature Club members had organized a week-long trekking and camping trip for students. Although Elsa had gone camping with her family before, she had never gone trekking. She wondered what it would be like to set up base camps and trek in the high mountains. Elsa wanted to do something she hadn't done before, and so she had enrolled on this trip. Elsa's mother had warned her about the difficulties of such a trip, but she ignored her warnings and filled out the form.
Now, when Elsa saw the group of trekkers getting ready to leave, she realized it was too late to back out. She took a deep breath, put on a brave face, and walked on.
As they began hiking to base camp, Elsa forgot her nervousness. The cool breeze and the rumble of the withered leaves soothed Elsa's mind. The path was covered with trees and other exotic plants. Elsa couldn't get over the feeling of seeing and touching the plants she had only seen in her biology books. The sounds of different birds, the gushing of a distant waterfall, and the feel of walking on a forest trail thrilled Elsa. She couldn't wait to discover the wonders of nature during the rest of the trip. This is going to be a memorable experience, she thought to herself.
