So, I do theater in a church with a bunch of middle schoolers. 2 years ago, I got a pretty big role in newsies jr. (j was Les) and this year I got the narrator in beauty and the beast jr. Both were fairly big. This year we are doing lion king jr. and one of my best friends (I am in a set of 4 very good girl friends) and I both REALLY want nala. She hasn’t had a lead yet and deserves one. I don’t mean to be mean, she is AMAZING, but I can act and sing better and am afraid that I will get the role (even though I do want it). Should I drop out of the race so that she can get the role?
