A new student has arrived in your neighborhood. The student is not from the area and is disconnected from the culture of the school/community.

Explain whether or not you think there would be any benefits to having a relationship (connection of any kind, not just friendship or dating) with this person. What kind of positives or negatives could you see in making a connection?

For your reply to a classmate's post:
Address at least one of your classmates' initial posts. Give some ideas on how he/she might be able to find "common ground" with the newcomer.
