Did you know that as a baby, you were born with as many neurons as you will ever have; that's 100 billion (10¹¹)! Some studies suggest that you lose approximately 10000(10⁴) neurons every day. Build a linear model and use it to calculate the number of neurons you have left today. Hint: 10000 is 0.00001 billion. Another study suggests that the decay follows a logistic model where our initial 100 billion neurons fall to a level of about 99.5 billion as we age. Construct a logistic model that assumes that you have 99.9 billion neurons today, and then use your model to determine how old you will be when you have 99.75 billion neurons remaining. Use the information in RED to find a and b to build your equation.
Logistic Model: f(t)= C/(1+abᵗ).
