1. drawing the Lewis diagram of the nominated molecule;
2. predicting the shape about each of the underlined atoms in the molecule using VSEPR theory;

5. drawing a three dimensional representation of the molecule using the following conventions:
(i) where possible draw the longest carbon chain such that each carbon in the longest carbon chain lies in the plane
defined by the page;
(ii) a single bond lying in the plane defined by the page is represented by a single dash, i.e., C–C represents two
carbon atoms connected by a single bond lying in the plane of the page;
(iii) a bond projecting out of the plane of the page towards you is represented by a solid wedge i.e.,
represents a carbon in the plane of the page connected to an oxygen above the plane of the page by single bond;
and
(iv) a bond projecting out of the plane of the page away from you is represented by a dashed wedge i.e.,
represents a carbon in the plane of the page connected to an oxygen behind the plane of the page by single bond.
6. All carbon atoms must be accurately represented as they appear
in the model that you have prepared.

you have made, and complete the table by filling in all the empty cells.
