The six main colors on the color wheel can be divided into two categories: cool and warm. Three of the six colors are cool. First, there is green, which can suggest the coolness of the dew on the morning grass. Blue is a color appropriate for the sensation of cool refreshing water in a pool or lake. A third color to suggest a feeling of coolness is violet, such as the violet-colored iris or the long flowing royal purple-violet cloak of a king.
