Alvin, Simon, and Theodore have been friends since high and have just graduated with honors from the local university last year. Alvin received a degree in Computer Science; Simon received a degree in Digital Arts; and Theodore with a degree in Business Management. They all love computers and have put themselves through college by working on and fixing computers. The friends have each saved about $20,000 in savings to invest in a business venture together. They are considering starting a computer company (AST Computer Solutions) in a new business center in their hometown to assist businesses and individuals with computer problems and to assist in developing and designing web sites. As part of their research, they found there are only two companies who offer the services they are proposing in their town of 250,000 and neither of them have both web design and computer hardware/software troubleshooting.
