What are some similarities between the book and movie of percy jackson and the olympians: the lightning thief?

Sagot :

First of all, I would like to say that I did not like the movie. It was poorly adapted. Okay, similarities:

1. It had the same main characters with the same names
2. It followed the story line pretty accurately

That's really all I have for you. a bunch of the events that occurred in the book also happened in the movie, you can probably name more than I can at the moment. It should be pretty easy to compare unless you haven't read the book or seen the movie... good luck!

They fight Medusa. Meduasa's head turns gabe to stone, they aquire three pearls, they go to the Underworld, they both have a mom that goes to the underworld, but does not die. Besides that, the movie is pretty much completly different and worse then the book.
