Sagot :
Star gaze as in gazing at the stars you would need a telescope. You might also include a star map to help determine what constellations you are looking at.
You do NOT need a telescope for stargazing. "Gazing" means "looking around at for a while, leisurely-like and not in any hurry".
In order to stargaze, you go outside on a clear night, look up at the sky, find some stars, notice that they have different brightness and different colors, notice any shapes or patterns they make, and if you're out long enough, notice how they move.
Then, a night or two later, do it again. See if you gind the same stars again. Are they in the same places ? Have any of them moved ? Have any of the patterns changed ? Is the moon still in the same place, or did it move through the stars ?
Can you find any new ones that you didn't see the first time ?
THAT'S stargazing. You can't do any of that with a telescope.
