how do i find the mid point of (-6,0) , (6,5) please show work thanks

Sagot :

[tex]\left(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)\\\\ \left(\frac{-6+6}{2},\frac{0+5}{2}\right)\\ \left(\frac{0}{2},\frac{5}{2}\right)\\ \left(0,2.5\right)\\ [/tex]
To find the midpoint of 2 points.. we have to add x coordinates and y coordinates and halve them.
in this case, mid point would be((-6 + 6) /2, (0+5)/2) = (0, 2.5)

Let me know if the solution is clear.
