a student performed an experiment by placing the de-shelled egg in a concentrated salt solution for five minutes .what changes did he observed in the egg? give reason for the same

the water inside the egg will come out this is the process of  osmosis 
osmosis is the process of transportation of water from higher concentration to lower 
this is the example of hypotonic  solution

He would have observed that the egg shrinks. Because the amount of water molecules inside the egg is more than the surrounding medium. so water molecules go out  of the egg by the process of osmosis
