-4, 100, 9300 would be integers. Using my definition they all have negative or positive counterparts.
-2.3, 7.8888(etc.) 2/3 would not be integers. Even though -2.3 and 7.8888(etc.) have negative/ positive counterparts they are not whole numbers.
