Both. When we make a mistake, we tend to learn from the consequences. As for, when someone tell us “ not to do “ this or that, we don’t listen and we continue to do it, and then we see why they told us not to do it. You learn mainly from both, but if you have to pick one. I would say from ourselves. Were humans. We make mistakes a lot, but if there’s a bad outcome we learn that we shouldn’t do it again. Slowly but surely.
