Both are partially true. President-elect refers to who the USA wants to be perceived has, who many reach to be.

But the Social Justice leaders refer to what they see in America. The fear and anger they see.

I have to agree with president-elect more because I think intentions and goals matter more than actions (NOT IN ALL CASES), and because those terrorists at the Capitol do not represent me and what I believe at all. Although I understand how much of America would look like those at the Capitol, even without sharing those views. Because of the reactions of many, fueled by fear and hatred.
