Another being that some Jews were anchored in Germany due to their business or family. Some believed that it would only be a few week take curfew at most and decided to stay with the mentality that it would not get as bad as it did.
Some were too young and others were too old. Though the only certain thing about it was the aftermath. Regardless of their reasoning to stay, it obviously left a much larger impact than what any of them could have imagined.
